Room Capacity: Restricted to 50 participants.
Level of Interactivity: High / Interactive Exercise
Climate change affects the evironment, economy and society from global to local scale. We all know about melting glaciers, but we are also facing more heat waves and droughts, more heavy rainfall and floods, changing ecosystems and spreading diseases - just as a few examples. Adapting to the impacts of climate change gains importance (while reducing greenhouse gas emissions remains priority).
Key question of this session: (How) can Design Thinking provide new ideas and solutions for climate proof regions and societies?
The session starts with a short input from climate change adaptation projects. Then we continue with 3 interactive discussion cycles (15' each).
This will be an interactive session, which lives from the exchange of its participants. Please enter the session on time. It will be first-come, first-serve. I appreciate your understanding.
